Being a WorBot is far more than a finalized robot or the journey to its apogee. It is a tireless emulation of the values and mission of the team. Leaders do not just drive robots, they drive our community forward through sharing STEM and serving as role models and educators to their peers, youth, and the Worthington community at large. They engineer a world around them that is impassioned by STEM and guide their team toward innovation and growth within FIRST and themselves.
Mentors
Mentorship is a tremendously impactful source of growth within the WorBots—connecting industry professionals with eager students to promote growth. These mentors share a large repertoire of knowledge with youth, cultivating a culture of STEM as they promote pursuance of STEM in and beyond their high school years. Through mentorship, the next generation of STEM professionals, innovators, and leaders are prepared to change the landscape of engineering and the world around them.
